How to give

  1. 01

    Open M-Pesa on your phone

    Select Lipa na M-Pesa, then choose Pay Bill.

  2. 02

    Enter the church paybill number

    It is on the card beside these steps.

  3. 03

    Enter the account number

    Type what your gift is for — Tithe, Offering, Building or Outreach — so the treasurer can allocate it correctly.

  4. 04

    Enter the amount

    Give as you have decided in your heart, freely and without pressure.

  5. 05

    Enter your M-Pesa PIN and confirm

    Only ever key your PIN into your own phone. Nobody from the church will ask you for it.

  6. 06

    Keep the confirmation SMS

    Safaricom sends a message with a receipt code. Keep it — it is your proof of payment.

Keep your money safe

  • The church will never phone or text you asking for your M-Pesa PIN.
  • Never send money to a personal number claiming to collect on the church's behalf.
  • If a paybill reaches you by SMS or WhatsApp, confirm it with the church office before paying.

Where your giving goes

Use one of these words as your account number so the treasurer can allocate your gift to the right fund.

  • Building Fund
  • Community Outreach

Anything we cannot match to a fund is held as unallocated until the treasurer confirms it.

Paying school fees?

School fees are not paid here. They go to Goshen Presbyterian School's own account, so that fees are recorded as school income rather than church offering.
